Advantages of Different Types of Water for Gardening

Kangen Water® is well known for its benefits to people.  The Kangen Water Machine provides a healthy pH and ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) for drinking water for us humans.  But there are 5 different types of water which are provided by this machine. You can select the pH of the water you want to use for a particular application, without using any chemicals.

Now, many owners of Kangen Water Machines are taking advantage of this flexibility to provide nourishment for plants, and for gardens.

There are two reasons why variations of  waters provided by the Kangen Water Machine are helpful in providing nourishment for your garden.  These are the pH and ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) which both provide a deficiency of, or abundance of, extra electrons to the water.  Because the 5.5 pH acid water is “Hungry” it assists in the dissolving of inorganic matter (solid mineral rock) in the soil and helps with the ion exchange that produces alkaline plant matter in the hydrogen ion exchange.  The lower pH also encourages helpful soil microbes.

This same “Hunger” also exists in nature as rainwater which is typically about 5.5 pH as well.  When this 5.5 pH water gets into the soil it helps dissolve the minerals.  Minerals are what ultimately make up the strength of the flavor; the abundance of measurable nutrients and the overall health of the plant.

Plants THRIVE on Kangen water because of the microclustering, just like people.  Plants that we (or other people in our group) have watered with the Kangen Water get really big and lush and green because the water uptakes so much more efficiently.

Growing Your Own Garden

Growing your own fruits, vegetables and herbs is a great way to have fresh produce at hand every day. This is the case whether you have a plot of land or you are container-gardening with potted plants. If you are consuming the produce from this gardening, then the nourishment that your plants receive is even more vital.  The plants need good water in addition to sunshine and good soil.

It is the case that tap water often contains contaminants such as bacteria and chlorine, which could harm the plants and provide a risk for eating.

Alkaline water can enhance the initial germination process for plants. Slightly alkaline water can help stimulate this process and stimulate growth. Enagic’s Kangen Water with a pH of 9.0 can be an ideal solution for vegetables, fruits and herbal plants. This alkaline water can also help to heal plants which are not doing well.

Food Preparation & Washing of Produce Purchased at Markets

If you don’t have your own garden or if you purchase most of your vegetables and fruits at local markets or stores, then you should be sure to give attention to cleaning the produce properly.  Even organically grown products should be properly cleaned. You can use Strong Kangen Water (pH 11) and Kangen Water® (pH 8.5-9.5) to both clean and disinfect fruits and vegetables.

Strong Kangen Water is a potent emulsifier, which can be employed when produce has been treated with pesticides.  This pH 11 alkalized water can clean the harmful chemicals off the foods.  Since pesticides are oil based, rain water and tap water are unable to eliminate them.  However, Strong Kangen Water effectively battles the germs, bacteria and pesticides.

While the regular Kangen Water® will not have the same disinfective effect, it is still a far superior choice over tap water for rinsing produce.  It will also enhance the flavor of  produce when they are boiled in Kangen Water®.
